Productivity

There are two kinds of productivity – productivity in the urgent and productivity in the important.

Productivity in the urgent involves deadlines…

checklists…

stress relief…

making a living.

Productivity in the important means designing a life.

Try carving out time and energy for that.

The important things work on you as a person…

establish pathways for long periods of time…

lead to more significant or pleasurable goals.

The important things sow into the future.

They don’t just take care of business today.

Earning a living:  Good.

Designing a life:  Awesome.

How’s that for a New Year’s (or new day’s) resolution?
